They say that a picture speaks louder than words. So, this time I thought of cutting down on words and let pictures do most of the talking.

The Nalsarovar Bird Sanctuary near Ahmedabad in Gujarat consists of a 120 sq km shallow lake and marshes. Situated 65 kms away from Ahmedabad, the lake attracts a wide variety of migratory birds in winter and spring.

Rann Baby Rann (Little Rann of Kutch)

A few years ago we made a trip to the lesser known cousin of the Great Rann of Kutch, the Little Rann of Kutch. I must admit that it was a case of mistaken identity but after the initial disappointment washed over, we were quite awed by all that the region had to offer in terms of wildlife, history and warm hospitality.
